Questions

Before you call

Is my foundation crack structural?

Vertical hairline cracks in a poured wall are usually shrinkage and are a water problem, not a structural one. Horizontal cracks, stair-step cracks in block, and any crack that is wider at one end than the other are the ones worth looking at properly. Send a photo and we will tell you which you have.

Do you have to dig up the outside of the house?

For most poured-wall cracks, no. Injection is done from inside the basement through ports set along the crack. Excavation is reserved for failed exterior waterproofing or a wall that needs to be rebuilt.

How fast can you come out?

We respond to estimate requests within one business day. Active water intrusion gets scheduled ahead of routine work.

Are you licensed and insured?

Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor #203912 and Rhode Island General Contractor GC-49650, with general liability coverage. We can send a certificate of insurance naming your association or building before we start.
