Exterior is the right choice when you have severe hydrostatic pressure, want to stop water before it touches the foundation, or are already excavating for other work. It is more expensive but more permanent.
How deep do you excavate?
To the bottom of the footing, typically 7 to 9 feet below grade for a full basement.
Will you damage my landscaping?
Yes, the work zone landscaping must be removed. We restore grading and topsoil but do not replace plantings, lawn, or hardscaping unless it is included in the proposal.
How long does the work take?
A typical residential exterior waterproofing project takes 5 to 10 working days depending on the foundation perimeter.
